What Dual Hitch Receiver and Ball Mount to Tow a Sea-Doo Trailer and Motorcycle Carrier

Question:

Hi, I need a dual hitch Receiver to tow a seadoo trailer plus a motorcycle carrier on the top one. The motorcycle weight 450 pounds plus the carrier , the trailer have a tongue weight of about 200 pounds. Important I need a of 8 inches for the trailer, do you have something to fit this ?

An option that provides the capacity you need with most of the drop is an adjustable dual hitch adapter like the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch # 325-GH-314. This hitch provides - 7-1/2" of drop and also comes with 2" and 2-5/16" interchangeable tow balls. This provides a wide variety of potential uses with one hitch so it could pay for itself many times over a lifetime of use. In addition, while most hitch adapters lose tongue weight capacity when used, Gen-Y products do not with this hitch providing up to 10,000lbs of gross trailer weight capacity.

Another consideration is a front mount hitch for the motorcycle carrier like the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier # 98873 would be another option. This carrier also would work on the back end as well if you don't already have a motorcycle carrier.
