Wiring Adapter for Curt Brake Controller in 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Question:
Wiring harness for 2016 tacoma Trd with towing package. I have a curt discovery brake controller I took off my 2010 Nissan frontier. I would like to install it on my 2016 Tacoma. The wiring harness I have is a Curt 51382. Will this work or do I need a different one for this truck?

We do have a wiring adapter for your Curt brake controller that will work in your 2016 Toyota Tacoma, though adapter 51382 does not work with a Toyota, only certain models of Nissan, such as your Frontier.
Instead you need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51455 which does fit your '16 Tacoma.
