Does Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks Work With a Single Tank

Question:

I read somewhere that you can use this for one tank since it will pull from full tank. If you do this should you plug the other end? If so with what? Otherwise I would just have a hose hanging there. Would hate to get rid of it since I might not like one tank. Needing to fit 2 6V on axle now and dont have room for 2 tanks, unless there is something to help with putting 2 batteries on and them hanging over a bit? Thoughts from picture? Really would like to keep set up and just have 2 6V hang over the ends some if needed.

Yes, the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005 can be used with a single propane tank if you like. It is designed to automatically change over to the second tank when one is empty so what will happen is it simply won't change over and will always pull from the one tank.
