I can’t find the weight of the 18151 cargo carrier, only the shipping weight.

The shipping weight of the Curt cargo carrier part # C18151 that you referenced is 58 lbs so when you take out the weight of packing material you'd have a carrier that weighs 55 lbs. The weight capacity of the carrier is 500 lbs.
