Question:
Hello! I have a few multi-part questions, regarding a possible upgrade of my current Flexiride system photo attached 1. Are there any definitive performance differences between the Flexiride 2000 FR-2000 B with FA-20P spindle/arm and the Timbren # A20RS545? I currently have the Flexiride on my tear trailer but the roads are incredibly bumpy and rough so I am interested in upgrading the suspension. 2. If the two above are relatively compatible, what does the upgrade from the Timbren 2,000 to the HD version look like? What additional benefits come from moving up to that system? Can you run this setup with 205/75r15 tires or do you have to use off roadfoot tires? 3. Are the mounting systems of the Flexiride similar/identical to those of Timbren? If I currently have the Flexiride installed would it be as simple as jacking up the trailer, removing the Flexi and bolting on the Timbren in its place?

The HD versions of the Timbren kits like the part # ASR2KHDS01 are more intended for off road type use like what you'd be using so this is the kit you'd want. The spindles are actually designed for use with 3,500 lb hub/drums instead for added strength. The Flexiride system you have now is a torsion style spring that would not be as reliable in off-road situations so the Timbren would be a better route to go.
You can use this kit with standard trailer wheels like the size you mentioned of 205/75-15,m it's actually recommended to use trailer wheels/tires with this kit.
This won't be an exact bolt up replacement for what you have but it will install relatively easy.
