Is this the part for the magnet for the 7 inch manual adjusting 2000 lb dexter axle. With out it how does it effect brake performance Thanks

We do not have the exact magnet clip for 7 inch brakes so # AKBRKR-MC could work but it may need to be modified to fit.
The other option is to replace the magnet which comes with a new spring and clip, # BP01-068.
Without the clip the magnet can come off of the actuating arm and tumble around in the drum.
