Question:
I have a 1998 Triton Elite WCII trailer and I am getting grease spatter on the outside of my wheels. Does this mean my seals are bad and I have to replace the bearings? If so, can you tell me what parts I need to buy?

Expert Reply:
The grease cap is definitely leaking out of the rubber plug on top of it. It's possible the bearings are bad now so it's a good idea to pull the hub off and just inspect everything and at the very least repack the bearings.
At the very least you'll have to replace your grease cap which I can help you with but will need you to remove the cap you have and measure the hub bore diameter where it fits. You'll want to use a digital caliper like the part # PTW80157 to get an exact diameter.
I attached a link to all of the caps we offer as well.
