Purpose of 9/16 Inch Washers For Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch on 2016 Chevy Suburban

Question:
Why does the hitch come with six 9/16 hardened flat washers? During my install 2016 Chevy Suburban LT, I only used two. Are the extra given in case it requires additional washers to fill the holes for the front mount points? Instructions on show one being used on the each side?

You are exactly right. The six included 9/16 inch washers for the Draw-Tie Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65064 are used to fill up space in the large 1-1/4 inch diameter holes at the bottom of the frame on your Suburban. You might not need all of the washers to accomplish this.
