Can I Install Roadmaster Quiet Hitch Upside Down On Receiver Because Of Clearance Issues

Can the Anti-rattle be mounted up side down. The u-bolt doesn’t have enough room to put the nuts on the threads due to no space. The u-bolt threads are hitting my bumper cover.

Expert Reply:
Yes, if you are not able to install the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch part # RM-062 and part # RM-061 with the lock bar facing up, you may flip it over and install it so the lock bar is on the bottom of the receiver. I have attached a photo of the U-bolt installed upside down.
