Question:

Can I get a receiver small 1.5 inch and a spare tire holder attach to it so I can carry my spare tire instead of having it mounted under the trailer. I was told by forest river I could do this but I have been unable to find the receiver with the tire holder attach to it.

We do have some trailer hitches for travel trailers that use a 1-1/4" receiver but for your application I recommend using the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 which has a 2" receiver so you can also use the Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # C31006.

I have attached a photo of the mounting hole dimensions for the Curt carrier so that you can ensure that your spare tire will fit. You may also consider using the Spare Tire Lock # e98892 to secure your tire to the carrier and then the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880 to secure the carrier to your trailer hitch.
