Determining if Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit Will Work with Older Dometic Awning

The Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC434724 is designed to work with most Dometic brand awnings. I reached out to my contact at Lippert regarding your particular Dometic system using the model information you provided and it appears this might be an older design. With that being said there are just a couple of things you can quickly check on your current awning to verify if this will work.

First just make sure that your awning has an 8 foot projection when it's pulled out. If it's any shorter or longer the hardware with this kit won't work properly. Also measure the diameter of your existing roll tube to make sure it is 4-1/2 inches.

If your Dometic awning meets both of these requirements then this kit will work perfectly.
