Question:

Hi, I recently ordered a brake controller and mounting panel for my 2017 Tacoma. It seems that the panel doesnt actually fit well in the dash as specified. There is about a 2 cm gap on both the top and bottom of the panel. So, it doesnt quite look factory as specified. Is this the normal fit? Item # 331-TPSI-002

The Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 for the Tow-Pro Elite brake controller # RED44FR measures 1-1/4" tall x 7/8" wide. I went out and measured the knockout on a 2017 Toyota Tacoma that we have here on site and found that the knockout should match just fine.
