Does OEM Bumper Beam/Hitch Receiver Need to be Removed for Draw-Tite Hitch on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500
Updated 07/02/2019 | Published 07/01/2019 >
Question:
This may be a dumb question, but does the bumper beam get removed when the 41929 hitch is installed on a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Or, does the receiver portion just get removed? The receiver appears to be bolted on to the bumper beam.

Great news! The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41929 actually sits below the OEM receiver on your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 so you don't have to remove anything for this installation!
I have attached a clip from the installation instructions that gives an example of this.
