How Often Should Grease Zerk be Greased on B&W Companion

Question:
Grease zerk on B&W Companion hitch pivot point. My hitch is a year old and it has always been extremely hard to get it greased. I have to stand on the gun lever to get even the smallest amount of grease in. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

It sounds like the grease zerk on your B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W has simply been clogged. The zerk on this hitch should only be greased twice a year at most so if you have only had it a year it sounds like you may be greasing it too much which has made the zerk clog.
