Ladder Rack Fit for 2019 Ford Ranger

Question:

Hello, I have a factory installed rear trailer hitch on my 2019 Ford Ranger. Im considering my options for a front trailer hitch to carry extention ladders. Do you offer front hitches that fit the Ranger and any accessories? Thank you.

We have the perfect way for you to carry ladders with your 2019 Ford Ranger, although there is not a front-mounted hitch that fits this truck.

There are ladder racks though which will work to carry your extension ladders as well as other gear.

So long as your '19 Ranger is a 4-door Crew Cab with a 5'6" bed OR a 4-door Super Cab with a 6'6" bed there are two ladder rack options:

- Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH500XT (Silver) or # TH500XTB (Black)
- Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH27000XT (Silver) or # TH27000XTB (Black)

The difference between these two racks is that the Xsporter is adjustable in height but has a 450 lb capacity, while the TracRac TracONE is a fixed height but has a more robust 800 lb carrying capacity. If your ladders are particularly long you may need to add a roof rack as well in order to help support them.

The roof rack that will fit either of the aforementioned Ford Rangers consists of: Thule SquareBar Crossbars # TH712400, Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501, and Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack Feet # TH145063.
