Can LED Strip Light part # 328-003-84R be Used as Third Brake Light

Question:

I am looking for a replacement third brake light on my 2008 Featherlite 4-Horse Trailer. What you have on your site looks very close 15.5inch long surface mount, but I only see 3- and 4- wire units. My original unit has a 2- wire unit. Can these units be installed safely by wiring the leads together? thanks

If you wanted to wire the LED light part # 328-003-84R strictly as a third brake light you'd want to use just the red wire for the stoplight signal, brown for the taillight, and then white for ground. The turn signal wire could be taped up and simply not used.
