Is There an Advantage to Using 3 B&W Gooseneck Hitch Ball Over 2-5/16 B&W Gooseneck Hitch Ball
Updated 06/21/2019 | Published 06/20/2019 >
Question:
You guys say heavy duty towing, does have a 3inch ball provide more of a snug fit? Or is it just for couplers that require a 3inch ball?

Although the 3" Hitch Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNXA2025 is for heavy duty towing applications (due to the 40K weight capacity) the correct gooseneck hitch ball really boils down to what size coupler you have. If your gooseneck coupler is designed for a 2-5/16" hitch ball then you want to use the B&W hitch ball that came with your gooseneck hitch. If your gooseneck coupler is designed for a 3" hitch ball then you definitely need to use this over the 2-5/16" option.
