How Does LED Clearance Light part # STL79RB Wire to Trailer Wiring that Uses 2 Wires
Updated 06/18/2019 | Published 06/17/2019 >
Question:
This light will work great on my little utility trailer, but the tail lights on the trailer are two wire and this is three wire, can this work?

Expert Reply:
Your current taillights are grounding through the mounting hardware which is why there's on two wires and the LED Clearance light part # STL79RB instead grounds with the included white wire. So what you'd need to do is run the white wire to the mounting hardware of your trailer frame and you'd be set. Or you can run the white wire back to the ground circuit of the trailer's wiring.
