I have a 20k goosebox en route from you. Mfg instructions say to grease coupler shaft from the fitting in back. Would I use lithium grease?

Yes, you can absolutely use an all-purpose lithium grease for your new Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR.
A great option is the LubriMatic Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease # L11315 which will work with LubriMatic Standard-Duty, Lever Action Grease Gun # L30200. This is a 14 oz. cartridge though there is also a small 3 oz. cartridge and grease gun, the LubriMatic Mini Grease Gun Kit with Multi-Purpose Grease # L30132.
