Wall Thickness on Polar Hardware Butt Hinge # PLR1005

Question:
I want to build my own gate using the welded on male hinge halves that are on the trailer. Im running into problems with the outside diameter of the female part. The cast aluminum pcs are too thick and will not slide over the male pin. Any way to guesstimate the wall thickness of the female eye? Or do you have something that will accept a 1/2 pin with a wall thickness of 1/8? Gate will sit on frame of trailer so weight capacity not an issue. Thank you.

The Polar Hardware Butt Hinge # PLR1005 referenced in your question features a 3/16 inch thick aluminum wall on the eyelet and it will accept a 1/2 inch pin (which is included). We do not have a similar hinge available that with a smaller 1/8 inch thickness.
