Weight Capacity Of Lippert Spare Tire Winch For Over sized Tire

Question:
What is the spare tire weight of a spare tire hoist. I have a 2015 Silverado oversized tires 35, tire and rim is $110 lbs Will my original hoist hold the weight? I will fill, Ive tried If not do you sell a spare hoist that will fit my truck with 150lbs limit

I was able to find the OEM part number for the Chevy spare tire hoist but I was unable to find a weight capacity rating on it. The owner's manual for the 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 and the original hoist can handle the weight of a full sized spare tire but it did not mention an oversized 35" tire.
I recommend the Lippert Spare Tire Winch part # LC159056. The weight capacity of the Lippert Spare Tire Winch is 150 lbs so the weight of your tire and rim is not an issue. You do want to make sure you have enough space to install the winch and the oversized tire under the vehicle. The winch measures 4-1/4" where it bolts to the frame to the bottom. I have attached a photo for your reference along with the mounting hole dimensions.
