Question:

I have a 2001 wilderness Fleetwood. 29ft. I want to replace the stabilizer legs, because the ones,on there seem to slip and not get tight when trying to level my trailer out. They are called tent trailer kind of legs. I feel if I get those New it will be better at stabilizing my,trailer better.

In order to help stabilize your 2001 Fleetwood Wilderness Travel Trailer I recommend using two sets of the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle part # TJSCHD-24, one of each side of the trailer as this will provide the most stability. These jacks are easy to install and might even use the same holes as the jacks you have now. They offer up to 18-3/4" of lift and have a 2,500 lb per jack rating.

If you really wanted to fully stabilize the trailer then you could also add a set of the Super Grip Chock Wheel Stabilizer part # UF21-001090 which are very popular among RVers, especially those with children as they do an excellent job of reducing additional movement not eliminated with the above stabilizers.

If the tent trailer legs you are referring to are like the Stabilizer Jacks part # TJ01RT-HD then these are not what I recommend for you as they will not be strong enough to effectively stabilize your trailer.
