Question:
I cannot get signal in my 2018 F250 with the Furion S camera system. I have a 31foot Keyston Sprinter and the camera mounted in the rear above the upper marker light center. I used the power from that marker light. I get 1 bar and am able to pair the camera and do get power to the receiver. I will get 1 bar if sitting still but any movement will lose signal and no bars. I have tried to add a longer antenna as some of the videos suggest but it had no impact. Also saw where some would suggest the Ford Alum. body is causing interference. I am not sure what else to try.

My tech contact at Furrion has seen connectivity issues like you're having with your Furrion Vision S observation camera system # FOS43TASF. He said that late model vehicles and/or trailers that have highly-efficient LED lights may not use wiring heavy enough to fully power the transmitter on the camera. The fix for this is to use a direct battery connection and a manual switch like # PK34308 for delivering operating power to the camera, rather than the clearance light circuit on the trailer.
