Whats the purpose of the stabilizer strap i have tie down to strap generator to basket Also do they make a cargo carrier basket 28in wide my generator has wheels on it where its heavy need wider biggest ive found is 24

Expert Reply:
Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. The strap braces the hitch so that when you hit a bump it's not quite as stressful on the hitch. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
We have the Reese Solo Cargo Carrier part # PS1040100 which is 32 inches wide and 48 inches long. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
