Question:
Spring Bars for Curt part # C17422 Says the spring bar length is 25 5/8 in. Where do you measure the spring bars from?

Expert Reply:
The spring bars included with the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System with Sway Control part # C17422 are actually 28-3/8" long. This measurement is taken from the end of each bar with the knuckle removed. The distance from the end of the bar to the center of the pin on the knuckle is going to be 28 5/8" which you can see in the attached photo. I called Curt to confirm this for you.
