Question:

I measured the rails fron center to center at 48inch Also between 48-54inch is the open tie down area of lenght..total lenght arrox. 64inch from edge to edge lenght wise. I have a $ 980 order ready to lock down but need to know this cage will mount on my rails

I checked with Surco and the Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket, # SPS5060-1101, is listed as a fit to the factory roof rack (side rails that run front to back) on a 2006 Chevy Uplander

This carrier also has quite a few add-ons that you could get separately including an axe and shovel carrier, # SPAX100, light mounting brackets, # SPLT100, and a spare tire carrier, # SPST100.
