Replacement Mounting Hardware for an Older Thule Frontier Box without Easy Snap Mounting

Question:

Hi, I see an earlier answer that this clamp set will work with some older boxes. Id like to confirm if this would work with a Frontier 668 box non EasySnap mounting purchased in May 2001. the Thule website also shows an 05820 kit that upgrades the mounting system

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she informed that you could not use the Easy Snap Hardware on your older Thule Frontier box. She said you would have to use the same hardware that came with your box.

If you need replacement hardware you would want Replacement QM3 Hardware # TH04997.
