how to replace gas cylinder on a truck tool box

Expert Reply:
To remove the current gas strut on your UWS toolbox you will simply need to take a flathead screwdriver and pop the clip on either head. This will allow you to pull the strut right off. Once the strut is removed you just have to push the ends of the Replacement Lift Cylinder # UWSLIFTCYLIND onto the mounting points until they pop into place. I confirmed this with my contact at UWS.
