Troubleshooting Furrion Observation System Where Display Cuts in and Out

Question:

I installed a been furrion camera system on my 31 foot travel trailer.At first I got a picture from camera to monitor but now it just cuts in and out and will not lock in picture. What can I do to correct this problem?

First thing I would check is to see if the running lights on the trailer are intermittently operating as the camera cuts in and out as it's possible that the running light circuit has an issue which is the same circuit that powers the camera. If it's goes out the camera won't activate so I'd check that first. This setup is known for having great reception and since it worked great at one point I'd be inclined to believe that's not the problem.

If the running light is intermittently working then it's most likely corrosion on the pins of the trailer connectors which are preventing a solid connection and you'd want to improve that to allow it to work again. You might also check the ground wire for this circuit as well.
