Can I use a nylon lube/friction plate with the Demco DM8550045? If so which one do you recommend?

You absolutely can use a nylon lube plate with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 as long as it's no thicker than 3/16". For this your best option and one of our most popular units is the Lippert Never Fail Whisper Disk # LC286160 that features a superior modified polypeptide construction that's going to allow it to last longer than most alternatives.
Another really good option that's more economically priced is the Curt # C16722 that has a slighter larger 12 inch diameter for more coverage.
