Parts Needed to Convert Boat Trailer to Electric Over Hydraulic Drum Brakes and Replacement Coupler

Question:

I would like to convert a badly neglected boat trailer 2000 ezloader to Electric over Hydraulic as the entire brake system is seized. Is it possible to get a parts list? I would need the pump kit, breakaway/battery, I also need complete wheel brake assemblies x 4. Do you have a brake line kit as well? Add whatever else would be required. Drum brakes 12 inch have a brake controller for another trailer with electric brakes (Reese) but if I should replace this let me know. Tow vehicle is Ford F150 2007 with 4 and 7 way connection. Also, I am a bit confused about the electric pump. So many types and prices. Please recommend one. Trailer weight is about 2,000lbs and boat is about 6,500lbs. (Pushing the limit of my F150) I will need a new coupler as well as the one pictured has seen better days. 2-5/16 ball and 3 in wide channel. Thank you very much for you assistance.

We do have everything you need to convert to 12" electric over hydraulic drum brakes for your boat trailer:

The brakes are 12" x 2" and fit a 5-bolt mounting flange, which is likely what you have on your trailer though you should verify just be certain; they have a dacromet coating for use with boat trailers and are designed for 5,200 lb, 6,000 lb, and 7,000 lb axles.

The HydraStar Vented Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator is a high-quality and very reliable unit that will give you a quick response time. It is vented to give you added protection for the unit to guard against overheating, which can be an issue for some EOH actuators. This actuator is also made from aluminum (in the USA) so it is going to resist corrosion and have a long life.

The brake line kit will allow you to hook up the actuator and is the correct kit for use with a tandem axle trailer like yours and the breakaway kit is the final piece of the puzzle for your set up. The Titan coupler I recommended is a straight coupler that you only need to bolt on to your trailer tongue and has a healthy 21,000 lb capacity.

In regards to a brake controller, you mentioned Reese but there are a number of different controllers that were once Reese but are not labeled differently. There is a list of controllers on the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # HS381-8065 product page that you can use as a reference to see if yours is compatible.
