Bolt Recommendation for Installing Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks to Trailer Frame

Question:
I want to bolt this jack to my trailer frame. It is c channel, 1.5inch wide x 3inch tall. Can you recommend ubolts...or as in 1 photo a clamp solution? One pic seems to show 4 carriage bolts with some kind of bar stock on top. Also, I would much prefer for the scissors to run parallel to the trailer. ...most pics show it perpendicular. Is there a preference?

The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks # UF48-979002 will work well on your C-channel frame. You can attach them with #14 self-tapping screws in the smaller holes and then the manufacturer suggests using 3/8 inch grade 5 bolts for mounting in the larger holes.
