Is There a Slam Latch With The Taper on the Pin in the Opposite Direction?

Question:

Is this lock available in an option that is configured in the reverse direction? I want the taper on the top side rather than the bottom side. Paneloc Slam Latch with Cover - 2inch Long x 1-5/8inch Wide - Stainless Steel Item # F708-204P011

The Paneloc Slam Latch with Cover - 2" Long x 1-5/8" Wide - Stainless Steel # F708-204P011 is not available with the taper on the top instead of the bottom. You may want to consider using a different style latch like the Paneloc Heavy Duty Spring Latch - 2" Long x 1-1/2" Wide - Zinc Plated - Right Hand # F785-104Z which will have the tapered pin on all sides.

Your other option is to customize a longer pin from a latch like # F709-204P for your fit which would also require a shorter mount and repositioning the pin for the spring. This would basically be purchasing two different latches to make one custom latch. This will void the manufacturer warranty.
