Will Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler Stop Shake and Stabilize a Trailer

Question:

Hi i have 2006 kauffman 3 car wedge trailer will your coupler fit and also i am experiencing trailer shake and when making turns it bend on the size looking like its about to flip if i was to use your coupler would it stabalize the trailer ? I realy dont want to buy 5th wheel

The Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler, # CG, fits inside of an outer tube that has a 4 inch inner diameter. If the outer tube on your existing trailer has an outer tube with a 4 inch inner diameter and it uses safety pins to secure to the outer tube, it will fit.

It has a 4,000 pound pin weight capacity and 30,000 pound gross trailer weight capacity. The cushioning will help some with the shaking you are experiencing, and a little less with the stabilization when under load.

For even more stability, make sure you are not overloaded the front of the trailer. You will need to get the pin weight just right for the best ride when the trailer is loaded. If the issue occurs when it is not loaded, it is most likely a result of low pin weight.

Also make sure that you follow the trailer manufacturers recommendations for maintenance and lubrication of the gooseneck coupler components for best performance.
