Question:
Receiver hitch for the back of trailer - Need to pull 2005 Jeep behind 2018 north travel trailer, do you have a bolt on unit,
asked by: Doug P
Helpful Expert Reply:
There are trailer hitches that fit travel trailers, so long as your 2018 Heartland North Travel Trailer has a box frame, C-channel frame, or I-beam frame. If it is between 22" and 72" wide there is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch # 13703 or if it is 18" to 51" wide there is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch # C13702.
There can be bolted like you wanted or welded on; please note there is a capacity difference: Hitch # 13703 has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs while Hitch # C13702 has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs.
I've added links to video reviews of both hitches for you to check out.
