The trailer hitch I recommend you use on the back of your 2018 Highland Ridge Open Range Light LF291RLS to mount bikes or pull a trailer is the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703. The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver is the most popular trailer hitch we have for trailers because it fits so many different types and allows for the receiver tube to be placed in the best position to ensure you don't have any clearance issues with a bike rack for example. It offers easy installation because the holes for the bolts are already drilled into the brackets. The only thing you will need to do is use the brackets for a template to drill in the trailer frame and then you can attach the hitch using the supplied hardware.
In order to pull your boat trailer you are also going to need to install a trailer connector if the trailer has lights. For this, I recommend using either the Hopkins 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ LED Test Lights part # HM48133 or the Hopkins 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ LED Test Lights party # HM47913. These harnesses can just splice in behind the tail lights on the Open Range.
In order to mount bikes you are going to need to use a bike rack approved for use on 5th wheel trailers as not just any bike rack can be used. The reason for this is because there is much more stress placed on the hitch of a trailer as opposed to a vehicle. I recommend the Yakima LongHaul 4 Bike Rack part # Y02476 but I have attached a list of your options for you as well. The Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap part # 18050 is also recommended when using a bike rack or cargo carrier with the above hitch on the back of a trailer.
I have attached a sample install video of the trailer hitch for you as well.
