In some videos I have seen red grease, what type of grease is best for this application?

Red grease like the LMX Red part # L11390 is the toughest grease for trailer suspension and hub applications so it's the kind that we recommend the highest. It is ideal under temperature and pressure extremes, shock loads and high wear situations
