Can 2018 Chevy Equinox with 2.0 Liter Engine be Flat Towed

Question:

I bought a 2018 chevy Equinox 2.0T for the purpose of flat towing. The dealer told me I could but the manual says only the 1.5 liter turbo can, but NOT the 2.0 liter turbo! Now Im stuck with a new car I cant tow. Can you tell me if the 2018 2.0 can be dinghy towed as well? Thank you.

According to the research I did on your 2018 Chevy Equinox the 2.0 liter engines can be towed with a tow dolly like the Roadmaster part # RM-2050-1 if the vehicle is front wheel drive, but if the vehicle is all wheel drive the only solution is a trailer or flat bed truck.

Tow dollies are actually a great solution though as they easily transfer to different vehicles, the install time is greatly reduced, and the cost is about the same as a decent flat towing setup without having to modify the vehicle as much.
