Is there a part that would allow me to hook a gooseneck trailer to this hitch with a plate that will lock in to the side rails

There isn't a gooseneck adapter available that is designed specifically for your Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034, however there are some products that will allow you to modify the trailer so that it connects to this hitch or utilize your existing base rails to pull the gooseneck trailer.

If you are wanting to maintain the use of the Hijacker your only option is with a coupler adapter like the Round Tube # KPG5-R25-IP or the Square Tube # KPG5-R25-IP depending on the type of outer tube you have on the trailer. These will simply fit the existing gooseneck outer tube to provide a standard 5th Wheel king pin that will attach to the Hijacker jaws.

Another option if you do have the Hijacker # DM8550034 model mentioned above that uses industry standard, above-bed rails is to use an adapter like the Curt # 16055. This will mount to industry-standard 5th wheel base rails to provide you with a gooseneck ball for attachment. This particular model also has a 3 inch offset to allow for additional cab clearance with short bed trucks.
