Question:
Will this fit the sewer hose WITH the bayonet ends attached?
asked by: Richard D
Expert Reply:
Typically the outer diameter of the bayonet fitting on a sewer hose is around 4-3/16 inches or less. The Valterra EZ RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-0150 referenced in your question features an inner diameter of 4-3/8 inches so it will indeed accommodate an appropriately sized hose with the bayonet fittings still attached. If you have a hose already you might just take a quick measurement of the bayonet fitting just to be sure it falls under 4-3/8 inches in diameter.
Just as an example, the Valterra Tank Hose # D04-0111 features bayonet fittings that have an outside diameter of 4-1/8 inches so it would work perfectly, fittings and all, inside the EZ RV Carrier.
