Question:

I have 2006 ram mega cab 3500. Looking at draw tite hitch #41929 to go under factory hitch. With this set up will the torklift supertruss 48” extension work where as I have a camper and want to tow my side by side?

In order to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1548 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 you will need to remove the factory hitch and install the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1101. There are no other options to use any of the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions on your Dodge Ram 3500.

The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41929 would most likely not work with the factory trailer hitch and even if it were to the receiver tube opening would not have the correct spacing apart in order to accept the TorkLift SuperTruss. I wish I had a more cost effective option for you but the TorkLift SuperHitch is the only way you will be able to use a TorkLift SuperTruss.

The TorkLift products are not exactly what most would consider to be cost effective but they are made with a tremendous amount of quality and precision. They almost all come with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, there are no other products on the market that allow for the weight capacity of the SuperTruss in a hitch extension.
