Where Should 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way Draw Power From

Hello, My question is related to a previous response in this post. https://www.etrailer.com/question-123825.html What I want to know is can the 12 volt Rear cigarette lighter plug provide the power needed for a 7 way trailer hitch? See the following post by clmbr256: https://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/3936914-post18.html Does etrailer sell a 12volt cigarette plug that offers wiring and switch I can run into a 7 way plug to charge trailer battery and power reverse lights etc? I know the 4 way has the other lights covered. Or Do I still have to run a wire and a breaker from the back of the car all the way to the front to connect to the battery? Is what clmbr256 said possible and what parts do I order?

The amperage draw requirements of a 7-way's 12 volt accessory circuit is dependent on the accessories you plan to run off of it. Because of that I would strongly recommend you run the circuit up to the positive post of your vehicle battery with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker like part # 9510.
