For the generation 6 Outback 2020-2025, can you please recommend a retrofit 7 pin trailer harness so that I can use a Curt Echo to control e-brakes on a trailer?

Hello Kodiak.

There is not just a plug and play option to put a 7-way on the back for your 2025 Subaru Outback Wagon. in order to use the Curt Echo # C51180 you will first need to install a 4 flat, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56040, then you will need to add the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 12 Gauge Wires # ETBC7L. The # C56040 works on 2010-2025 Subaru Outback Wagon, the # ETBC7L is a universal kit so it works on all different vehicles. The install for the # ETBC7L is a little more difficult as you will need to run 12 Gauge wire from the battery to the 7 way connector that will go on the back, and you will have to install an amp as well. I have included an install video for you to check out, its on a 2020 but it will still be the same kind of install on the 2025.
