Can 2014 Ford F-150 4x4 Be Flat Towed

Question:
My dealer says I can tow this 4 wheel drive truck be hind my RV by putting it in tow mode. Have you heard of anybody doing this?

The 2014 Ford F-150 4WD can be flat towed with all wheels down by placing the transfer case in its neutral position and engaging the four-wheel-down towing feature. This flat towing information is noted on pages 206-207 of the online owner's manual.
Flat towing a truck that has this capability requires a number of components including a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit of some kind, a braking system and usually a high/low hitch adapter. All of these items are detailed in the articles I linked for you.
The manual covers the complete preparation process necessary for getting this vehicle ready for flat towing. The 2WD version cannot be flat towed. I recommend referring to your printed owner's manual to confirm what it says for your specific truck, since this could differ from the online information.
