Ground Clearance When Installing Curt C11158 Trailer Hitch on 2018 Ford Focus
Published 02/01/2019 >
Question:
Looking to put the curt c11158 on my 2018 Ford Focus hatch. Any idea what this might do ground-clearance wise? Don't really want to scrape the pavement every time I hit a bump....

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11158 is going to sit right up against the bottom of the bumper fascia on your 2018 Ford Focus hatchback so it's not going to affect ground clearance too much.
This Class I hitch features a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds and a towing weight limit of 2,000 pounds. I highly recommend also checking your copy of the owner's manual to verify the vehicle's limits, as you will need to adhere to those if they are lower.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference as well.
I am not sure what you plan on using the hitch for but I have attached a couple of links that will take you to our selection of Class I rated bike racks and cargo carriers that you can look through.
