Wider Tire Replacement for a 145/R12 Trailer Tire

Question:

Need 155 or 165 x 60x 13 radial tire. I have145 R 12 and want a bit wider in 13 tires. I will flat tow this 1650 lbs minitruck at speeds to 70mph.

The closest tire size we have to what you are looking for is a 175/80-13 which measures 24.1" diameter x 7" wide. This new size will be 2.8" larger in diameter and 1.3" larger in width than the 145/R12 tires that you have now. Please note that only half of this measurement will be applied to the top and sides. Unfortunately, we do not carry any 155/60-13 or 165/60-13 trailer tires nor is this a common trailer tire size.

I recommend the Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTRTM1758013C. This Provider tire has a load range c rating which is 1,360 lbs (per tire) and a speed rating M which is 81 mph. The best part of all is that is has automotive-grade tread that improves grip much more than most other standard trailer tires.
