Troubleshooting MaxxFan Roof Vent that Doesn't Want to Open
Updated 01/03/2019 | Published 01/01/2019 >
Question:
My control is on the wall. When I try to open the vent, the vent pops up a little bit and then falls back down. The fan comes on fine.

Sounds like there's an issue with the linkage that raises and lowers the lid of the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-04000K. If you can get on top of the 5th wheel I'd see if you can open the lid and check to see if the linkage arm that holds the lid has somehow been damaged.
