What Would Cause Kuat Transfer Bike Rack to Fit Tightly in Hitch of 2005 Honda Pilot
Updated 12/27/2018 | Published 12/26/2018 >
Question:
The Kuat Transfer 3 is great, but it is really difficult for me to it and remove it from the 2inch recover hitch on my 2005 Honda Pilot. I have to be able to do this by myself. Wondering if I should grease the hitch receiver? Other suggestions? Thanks!

The Kuat Transfer part # KU24FR does not have a reputation for fitting tightly to hitch tubes. Most likely the hitch of your 2005 Honda Pilot has rust or debris in it which is causing the clearances to fit too tightly. Due to the age of your Pilot that is most likely the case. I'd recommend cleaning it out as much as possible to see if you can get the rack to fit better.
