Front Mount Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ram 3500

Question:

Hello, I am looking for possibilities for carrying my Yamaha Zuma 125 scooter on the front of my 2018 Ram 3500 dually 8ft bed pickup truck. I tow a 5th wheel trailer from the bed of the truck so Im looking for something to attach to front of the truck that would allow me to carry a 260lb scooter, 35lb aluminum scooter rack with a 2 inch hitch mount and 10lbs of tie downs. Approximately 320ibs of vertical weight. Thanks for your help.

To carry your scooter on the front of your 2018 Ram 3500 I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch # C31067 because it has a 500 lb vertical load to support the approximately 320 lbs of weight you need to haul and is a bolt-on installation that will not require you to drill into the frame of your '18 Ram.

This hitch has a 2 inch receiver which will work with the 2 inch mount of your scooter carrier and if you have the factory tow hooks on your truck installing this hitch will allow you to retain them.
