My 16 ft boat has 8 ft long carpeted bunks on trailer. would 1 5ft roller on each side work ok.This is a Aluminum Lund V hull.

There is not really a rule for the length of roller bunk needed but a good way to select this would be to match them to the length of your bunk boards. Therefore, you would want to use two sets of the Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk part # DL21740. These bunk rollers have a 2,500 lb weight capacity. If you need more than you would need to go up a size to the Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk part # DL21741 which are 5' long and have a 3,000 lb weight capacity.
Don't forget the brackets part # DL21742 and u-bolts like part # CE15283GA needed to attach them.
